Highlighting the fruitful development of the friendship between Vietnam and Germany, Minister Dung said there are golden opportunities to further promote cooperation to compliment and support each other, especially in areas of both sides’ strengths. He suggested Germany in general and Saxony in particular support Vietnam to develop the semiconductor industry, which is a new development orientation Vietnamese businesses.

Kralinski, for his part, noted with pleasure that Germany and Vietnam has enjoyed a long-standing relations that always stand ready to cooperate for each other’s growth. Saxony’ enterprises are paying much attention to Vietnam’s business and investment climate, and they are hoping to visit Vietnam soon. He looked forward to deepening the partnership with the MPI and relevant ministries and sectors to seek further investment opportunities.

He said the German local has experience in microchip technology, science and technology in water resources and vocational training, adding that the dual vocational training system is the key to the German economy’s success, which is implemented in Vietnam according to German and international standards.

The German side expressed their desire to promote cooperation between Saxony state and Vietnam in vocational training and ensure of high skilled human resources, creating opportunities for the young to make contribution to the two countries’ economic cooperation.

Minister Dung said that Vietnam endowed with abundant human resources, which is invaluable source for the country’s development in the coming time, and thanked Germany for building quality programs that meet international standard in Vietnam.

He also noted that along with institutional improvement and infrastructure development, Vietnam considers human resource as one of three breakthroughs in its development strategy, along with science, technology and innovation. Values of culture and people are strength and main resources for development.

The official hoped that Germany continue to coordinate and promote personnel training cooperation with Vietnam. As a State management agency on enterprise development, the MPI hopes that the two sides consider transferring technology and knowledge to expand current ties, creating new business chances and projects for both businesses in the near future./.
