Deputy Minister Phuong welcomed the Mozambican Ambassador’s visit to the ministry, saying that Vietnam always attaches importance to promoting its traditional friendship and cooperation with Mozambique and regards the country as a key partner in Africa.
Vietnam currently has three projects worth 345.89 million USD in Mozambique. He said that two-way trade still remains modest and has yet to match potential, suggesting having a new cooperation mechanism to share experiences and further promote the investment climate of each countries to the business community.
Pene, for his part, emphasised that there is large room for cooperation between the two countries. He shared some orientations to fully tap cooperation opportunities of the two countries, including organising conferences on trade and investment promotion in order to promote the two businesses’ linkage and the traditional relationship between Vietnam and Mozambique./.
